Privacy Policy
Skypainter (“Skypainter”, “we”, “us”) is a drawing app for iPhone and iPad. This policy explains what the app handles and what it does not.
Summary
Skypainter does not require an account, does not sell personal data, and does not include advertising or third-party analytics. Paintings and settings stay on your device. We do not operate a server that receives your drawings.
Information on your device
- Paintings. Strokes, sculpted terrain, and library previews are stored in the app’s documents on your device.
- Settings. Brush, camera, and look preferences are stored on your device so they are still there the next time you open the app.
- Motion. In a Free drawing, the app reads device tilt to aim the camera. That reading stays on the device. It is not saved or sent anywhere.
- Exports. The share button opens the system share sheet with a still of the current view. The picture leaves the app only if you choose to save or send it. If you save it to Photos, iOS asks permission to add that image. The app does not read the rest of your photo library.
What we do not collect
- No account registration or login.
- No contact information, location, or advertising identifiers.
- No third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDKs from us.
- No tracking across other companies’ apps or websites.
- No cloud library operated by Skypainter.
Apple and the operating system
Apple may collect diagnostic or usage information according to your device settings and Apple’s own privacy policy, for example if you have opted in to Share iPhone Analytics or App Store diagnostics. That processing is controlled by Apple, not by Skypainter.
Children
Skypainter does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not ask for an account.
Changes
We may update this policy if the app’s behaviour changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
