Skypainter needs iOS 26 on iPhone or iPad. Paintings are stored on the device. Deleting the app deletes that library.

Orbit

While a finger is down, the line draws. Direction is from the centre of the screen toward your finger, and distance from the centre sets the speed. Lift your finger and the stroke coasts to a stop. As you push toward the edges and speed up, the camera pulls back. Pinch in to sculpt the globe, and pinch back out to paint the sky.

Free

Free drawings are open space. Tilt the phone to aim the camera. The brush follows the view plane.

Export

The share button opens the system share sheet with a still of the current view. Saving to Photos asks permission the first time. You can change that later in Settings → Skypainter → Photos.

Where are paintings stored?

The library lives in the app’s documents on your device. Skypainter does not upload paintings. Export anything you want to keep before you delete the app.
